Glioblastoma Multiforme

shows a large, irregular rimenhancing
lesion of the right temporoparietal
lobe within the deep white matter. The lesion
is causing considerable midline shift, with
effacement of the frontal horn of the right
lateral ventricle, adjacent sulcal patterns
and Sylvian fissure. The right basal ganglia
are compressed and shifted to the left.
This is a common appearance and location
of a GBM, although frontal lobes are also
affected. Haemorrhage, central necrosis
and mass affect are all expected findings
