CT Paranasal Sinuses -Sinusitis

Examination: CT P.N.S  
Techniques: CT PARA-NASAL SINUSES, Contiguous coronal cuts were obtained through the para-nasal sinuses without I.V. contrast and revealed:

                                                                 REPORT

  • Mild to moderate diffuse soft tissue miucosal thickening is seen involving both maxillary, sphenoidal & ethmoidal sinuses suggesting pan-sinusitis, however, reasonable central aeration is noted in all affected sinuses.
  • Mild hypertrophy of nasal turbinates.
  • Deviated nasal septum to left  side.
  • Bony orbits & eye globes display normal CT features with no evidences of intra- or extra-conal lesions were detected.

CONCLUSION:
         Pan-sinusitis
         Deviated nasal septum to left side
        Hypertrophy of nasal turbinates
